Mission, Goals and Objectives
The mission of the Person County Economic
Development Department is to assist the County of Person in promoting
economic development and to maintain a framework for local, state
and federal efforts necessary to enhance the growth of the area.
Goals and objectives include the expansion
of County's tax base and the creation of new job opportunities
through the retention of existing businesses and industries, expansion
of existing business and industries, and the recruitment and location
of new business and industrial concerns to the area.
